ZikrMate is a mobile application developed by Saim Khalifa ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how ZikrMate accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the application.
ZikrMate may process information through the application and through third-party services used to provide authentication, cloud synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, security, and in-app purchases.
If you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication may process information associated with your Google account, such as your email address, display name, and Firebase user identifier (UID).
Google sign-in is optional. You may use ZikrMate in Guest Mode without creating a Google account, subject to the features available to guest users.
When you sign in, ZikrMate may store your application data in Firebase Firestore so that your data can be synchronized and restored across supported devices.

User-specific cloud data is associated with the user's Firebase UID. We do not intentionally use one user's account data for another user's account.
ZikrMate may request device location permission to provide location-based prayer times and related prayer functionality.
Depending on the permission granted by the user and the device's Android settings, this may include precise location information. Location is used for app functionality such as calculating prayer times and is not requested solely for advertising purposes.
You can control location permission through your Android device settings. Some prayer-time functionality may not work correctly without the required location permission.
ZikrMate uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with important app features and to improve the application.
ZikrMate also uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect, diagnose, and fix application crashes and technical problems.
These services may process information such as device information, application version, operating system information, app events, diagnostic information, crash information, and identifiers provided by the relevant Firebase services.
The free version of ZikrMate may display advertisements using Google AdMob. Depending on the feature and user status, advertisements may include:
AdMob and its partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, app usage information, and advertising interaction information for purposes such as advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and frequency management, subject to applicable settings and policies.
Users may control advertising personalization and advertising identifier settings through supported Android and Google settings.

ZikrMate offers optional Premium purchases through Google Play Billing. Purchase-related information may be processed by Google Play to complete and manage the transaction.
ZikrMate may process information such as the selected product or plan, purchase status, purchase token, entitlement status, and related account information to verify Premium access, prevent unauthorized sharing of purchases, and restore legitimate purchases.
Payment card and other payment credentials are handled by Google Play. ZikrMate does not directly collect or store your full payment card information.
ZikrMate uses security mechanisms including Firebase Authentication, Firebase UID-based ownership checks, Google Play Billing verification, Firestore ownership controls, and Google Play Integrity where applicable.
These mechanisms help protect user accounts, Premium entitlements, cloud-synchronized data, and other sensitive app operations against unauthorized access and abuse.

ZikrMate uses third-party services provided by Google and other service providers to operate the application.
These third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable legal requirements.
Firebase privacy information: Firebase Privacy and Security
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers such as Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and Google Play services when necessary to provide authentication, cloud synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, security, or purchase functionality.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of our services and users.
Local application data may remain on your device until you uninstall the application, clear its data, or otherwise remove it.
For signed-in users, cloud-synchronized data may be retained in Firebase Firestore while the account remains active or until the user requests deletion, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or technical retention requirements.
Users with an account can request deletion of their ZikrMate account and associated account data through the account deletion functionality provided in the application.
If you are unable to access the in-app deletion option, you may contact us using the email address below to request account and associated data deletion.
When an account deletion request is processed, we will delete the associated account data that we are required to delete, subject to any information that must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.
Deleting your ZikrMate account does not necessarily delete information maintained independently by third-party services such as Google in accordance with their own policies.
ZikrMate is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of creating accounts.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through ZikrMate, please contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate action.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by ZikrMate.
Data transmitted to supported cloud services is protected using appropriate security mechanisms such as encrypted network connections. Access to account-specific cloud data is restricted using authenticated user identities and access controls.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to ZikrMate, its services, applicable laws, or our data practices.
When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this policy.
