ZikrMate is a mobile application developed by Saim Khalifa ("we", "us", or "our"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information directly inside the app forms. However, the app uses third‑party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Firebase Authentication (for optional sign‑in with Google)
• Google Firebase Firestore (to backup your zikr data and settings)
• Google Firebase Remote Config (to remotely configure app features)
• Google AdMob (to show ads in the free version of the app)

These third‑party services may collect information such as your device identifiers, IP address, advertising ID, app usage data, and crash logs in accordance with their own privacy policies.

How We Use Data

• To provide core app features such as saving zikr counts, reminders, themes, and streaks
• To sync your data with the cloud when you are signed in with Google
• To show ads in the free version and to offer an ad‑free / premium experience
• To improve app stability and performance

Advertising (AdMob)

The free version of ZikrMate uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded ads. AdMob may use the Android advertising ID and other data to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Firebase Services

We use Firebase Authentication to let you optionally sign in with your Google account, and Firestore to store your zikr counts, streaks, and settings in the cloud so you can restore them if you reinstall or change devices.

Data Retention

Local zikr counts and settings are stored on your device. If you sign in, synced data is stored in Firebase Firestore as long as your account exists or until you request deletion.

Children’s Privacy

ZikrMate is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
